ABOUT ME
Twitter: @lukasvdboom
Hi everyone! I'm Lukas 25 springs young, living in Utrecht, graduate student in governance studies.
My friends would probably describe me as an active and spontaneous young man. Got a pretty optimistic life stance, like to keep myself pretty busy working hard. I love to do things in the spur of the moment: share a drink and party hardy. The most interesting thing in life for me personally, is to find inspiration in people
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In 2011, Couchsurfing provided me the unique chance to combine working on a project abroad with the possibility of meeting new people in Denmark, Sweden, Austria and Hungary.
This trip got me inspired hosting others in the spirit I was hosted. On upcoming trips, I'll definitely use CS in one way or the other.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
Paul Kalkbrenner, The Roots, The Black Keys and everything in between
Movies:
No Country for Old Men, The Ladykillers, The Hangover
Books:
Next to the amount of study related books, I like to clear my mind reading Brusselmans (Flemish writer). His books are straightforward, highly autobiographical on themes as boredom, sex, drugs and rock 'n roll.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The best part about traveling through foreign lands is getting lost simply, taking wrong directions, not fully understanding what people are saying etc.
For me, this sensation takes the form of a challange doing as less as possible preparations.
