About Me

Hey there traveler!

Im Lukas, 20 years old and former student of sociology. I decided that its time for me to peek outside of Europe. Ive lived a pretty standard life so far.
Highschool -> College.
But at some point I discovered that this is not enough for me. I seek the foreign, seek challenges. I want to see new things.
And right now is the time. From November on I will live, travel and (hopefully) work in western Canada.
Im a pretty straight forward guy, I like to chat (in various forms) I like animals (especially dogs :)) and I adept pretty fast.
If you want to know anything more about me please do not be afraid to ask. I wont eat you :)
Until then, happy surfing!
Your Lukas

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here because this is the perfect place to connect to people. I am not interested in spending all my money in an anonymous hotel, just to find out that I saw absolutely nothing.

I think I can leave something behind on every couch I will surf. Even if its just a smile and a nice chat.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh dont get me started on music...
I have a fable for classics: Zeppelin, Ramones, ZZ Top, Iron Maiden.
(this list could go on forever sir)
Im very open to all genres, I enjoy quality music.

And Movies ...
Ive seen many movies and Tv-Shows but I enjoy the "time-loop" themed ones the most.
Something like Interstellar or Butterfly Effect - a good plotstwist is worth so much!
And again: list is too short!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the best thing I have done so far was doing the Camino de Santiago (Pilgrimage - but I didnt do it for religious reasons)
350 Kilometers by foot, spanish northcoast and sleeping in the traditional "albergues".
Yeah, those 15 days were beyond eveything Ive ever felt.
Challenging, rewarding and highly addictive!
