My name is Lukas, I’m 20 years old. I come from Poland but I’m currently studying music production in London. I decided to study abroad because I love meeting new people and I thought London would be a very exciting place to live in. I appreciate good music and fine film. Love deep talks, long walks and staying up late at night. I’m kind of bad at waking up. Every now and then I hold my guitar for a few minutes or press some buttons on my laptop and pretend I’m a sick producer.

I’m on couch surfing because I want to meet new people and get to know places from a perspective of people who live there. I’m very interested in getting to know different cultures, and I’m also very open to new experiences.

I listen to a huge variety of music but I’m mainly in love with funk. Artists that I like : Galactic, Sting, Marcus Miller, D’ Angelo and some modern stuff like : Nao, Mura Masa, Mac Demarco, Anderson Paak, Tame Impala. When it comes to film I love Wes Anderson, he’s my favourite director.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Last year I went on a van trip with my mates, and we travelled around Europe. We visited many beautiful places and had some great time. It may sound very cheesy but this trip made me realise that the possession is not really that important, and even living in a tiny space like that, without the things that you “need”, can be amazing as long as you’ve got great company.
