Overview
About Me
I am a person open for new acquaintances with a people who the same as I are very talkative, can easily make friends and have a sense of humour (at least I believe I have one :D).
I am married for 3 years now, don't have children yet but already have 2 beautiful cats which were taken from the shelter.
I work for huge corporation (yes, sounds boring...) as a software engineer, in the meantime also I'm trying to drive my PhD in mathematics to happy end (but currently it doesn't go as smooth as I would want to).
I'm living in Krakow since 5 years, before that I lived with my parents in Sosnowiec. While being there I spent a lot time in Gliwice where I was studying bachelor's degree.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm searching for people who can help me to explore the places worth to be visit that not necessarily are famous across the world.
I'm really looking forward to meet other interesting personalities who will be yet another good memory from the journey.
I hope I can in return enhance host's evening with my individual thus making my stay not only an accommodation but also an occasion to get known with a cheerful and funny person from Poland:)

Music, Movies, and Books
Surprisingly for me I've found out that I really like a fantasy world books like all from Discworld (T. Pratchett) or A Song of Ice and Fire (G. Martin). Well, I need to confess that as a kid I liked Harry Potter too :D
The most interesting movies for me are those that tell some kind of a riddle especially with some humorous addition, e. g. National Treasure (yes, I don't mind Nicolas Cage :P) or The Da Vinci Code. I'm also systematically selecting one film of those the most recommended ever released and try to rate it myself;)
My favourite music band was in the past Linkin Park (I still like to hear their songs, but it's not the same now), but lately I've discovered Offspring, Arctic Monkeys and Muse. But in the car I really like to hear classic music radio station - it can take away the frustration when I've stuck in the traffic jam (Krakow is horrible in this aspect) :]
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I jumped with a parachute:]
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe I can tell much about my country if someone is willing to know:) Of course I'm not a historian, so this will be only my subjective opinion about the reality;)
I really like playing board games, I have some that do not occupy much space in the backpack so I can take them with me if someone wants to spend evening on some brain teasing:]
I've started playing squash a year ago and I think I can mark myself as a semi-advanced player;) I'm always ready for some activity, especially for some kind of sport (of course squash, but also volleyball, basketball, football and other).
What I Can Share with Hosts
A story of my life;) There's always something in common that people can talk about and from my experience there's always something interesting to share with others, especially when they first met, moreover when they come from different parts of the world.
I'm not a professional cook, but for sure I can try to prepare something from traditional Polish cuisine (maybe making use of some recipe, but at least I know good Polish websites with them) - in practice probably my wife will do the job since she can prepare tasty meals :D But I'm also trying to do something by myself at home, so why not for you:)
Of course if you are board games enthusiast, then I won't refuse a round, maybe even two;) Or if you didn't have the opportunity to have such fun yet, I'm ready to show you some quick and easy, but still interesting card games that usually I take with me for the trip.
