I'm 24 year old front-end developer, recent applied computer science graduate. Currently I'm working and living near Amsterdam (the Netherlands).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet people from all around the world, know the culture of your home countries, practice languages (English and Spanish).

Interests

I'm absolutely in deep love with landscape and nature photography. Most of my free time I spend either taking pictures or watching them online. This passion was the reason why I started to travel. You can see some of my pictures here: www.lukaszrados.pl/en

In the short remaining leisure time, I run, cycle & hike in the mountains (well, not since I moved to the Netherlands). In the evenings I read a lot of books, watch movies and tv series (although I try not to).

Music:

I love movie soundtracks and Disney songs.

Movies:
The Lion King is my all time favourite;
Shawshank Redemption;
The Godfather (the first one);
Whiplash;
Snatch;
La La Land (I never thought that I will include musical in such section as "Favourite movies").

Books:
I grew up with Harry Potter and I still like to read it sometimes.
My favourite books are Catch 22, Millennium Trilogy, Lód (by polish author Jacek Dukaj). I was impressed by Fahrenheit 451, 1984, Brave New World and The Grapes of Wrath. I do most of my reading on Kindle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I finished marathon (April, 2015) and 3 half-marathons. It was worth every effort although my result wasn't top 10 :)

I'm always willing to exchange information about countries we come from, culture and mother tongue, especially the honest one.

If you are interested in photography I think I know a bit about this subject, so I can give you some cool tricks to improve holiday pictures.

If you want to do sightseeing in Amsterdam and don't have company, I will be happy to go with you during weekends (I don't know the city very good, so we can find some interesting place together).
