About Me

I'm not travelling at the moment, but I am hosting because it is the next best thing. Having someone from another culture in your home is like having your own little slice of that country!

Decided to go and live in Ecuador when I was 18. I came back to England after 6 months, then decided to go to Argentina for 6 months. Despite staying in these countries for so long, my Spanish isn't where I want it to be. I have however, gained a massive amount of experience in teaching. I love music, and I love all kinds of art in general. I'm a guitarist and harmonica player. I love fashion too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just love travelling and meeting new people!

Interests

I'm really interested in different music. I believe that music is the only art that can never be destroyed because it is not a physical thing. Even ancient music still exists! I love hunting for obscure rock music from the 60s and 70s. Jimi Hendrix and Santana are my idols. I love art in all shapes and forms. I take interest in films too. I really don't know how to sum myself up. Talk to me in person! I can get pretty deep.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music of all kinds! But for me the best music is Psychedelic rock and various types of Jazz. I also love Samba Bossa Nova and Salsa. Some Hip Hop is ok if its tasteful. As for movies I really like action films mainly and my favourite director is Tarantino. When it comes to books I fall short. I am trying to read more actual books but I'm a huge comic book and graphic novel fan. I love the artwork and characters.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a spiritual san pedro cactus trip with a Shaman in Ecuador.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English, and I'm learning Español. I have actually been teaching English in Latin America for 2 years.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help people with English (I have taught English to Spanish speakers in South America for 2 years), and I will also soon have an official certificate to teach English as a foreign language. I can talk extensively about British history and culture if you'd like to learn about that too!. I can also cook British food (among other foods like tropical food). I will talk about anything, and nothing is taboo to me!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Panama, Scotland, Singapore, Spain, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In
