ABOUT ME

I am a free thinking American with a mind for travel and understanding other people and cultures. I recently studied to became a massage an bodywork therapist. I have ties to the Boy Scouts, having grown up in the organization and consequently am an outdoor enthusiast. I love meeting people from all around the world and talking about the hard questions in life. My goal is only to learn more.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Thus far my participation in couch surfing has been in conjunction with my counterpart Bonnie, who is both well versed in several common world languages and an avid couch surfer in a variety of countries. I've co-hosted with her on several occasions and surfed with her internationally as well. My page is linked with hers as we most often host/surf together.

I've hosted in North America and surfed mostly in Europe.

I have varied interests that would seem shallow to list in order here but I, as with all true surfers, share a passion for travel and culture, both my own and foreign. I love to meet people and field their views on many topics. I like to go deep. I am an outdoor enthusiast as mentioned before and enjoy the pursuits of bicycling, mountain climbing, backpacking and general hiking, white water sports, etc. I also enjoy reading, current events, art ( all forms: performance, visual, interpretive, etc) and music (though not terribly talented myself) I enjoy the listening and the art/universality of it. I like comedy and though I try to be sophisticated on many levels of interest I also enjoy the subtitles of being stupid. Enough? Enough.
