About Me

I'm an Australian who has been living in London for the past year, working and using it as a base-camp to explore as much of Europe as possible. This Autumn will be my last season here in Europe before I pack my bag's to head back home to Australia to resume studying.

Just like everyone on this website I have a real passion for travelling. I love exploring cities and their histories, and meeting new people from all walks of life who share the same passions and have interesting stories to tell.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my closest friends who I met whilst travelling told me about how she uses a website where she can find people to crash with who offer generously their hospitality and local insight of their home city. The idea of staying with a local had never occurred to me buy once I knew it was possible it had an immediate appeal. I figured that the best way to see a city was to take the advice from a local!

I haven't Couchsurfed yet, but from September I will be travelling for 8 weeks before heading back to Australia. Part of my trip will be doing the El Camino de Santiago, the rest will be a series of cities that I have really wanted wanted to see including Dublin, Krakow, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Reykjavik, Porto and Lisbon. I'd love to stay with some locals along the way and hear their insight.

While I sadly cannot offer a couch where I am based in London, I really look forward to giving back once I return to my hometown later this year.
