My name is Luke from Ann Arbor Michigan. I own a DJ business called Lufru Entertainment. I'm grateful for what I was able to build, and for the time and freedom this career has bestowed upon me :) In school, I studied music... in life I study whatever comes my way. Money is nice, but most of all I work for freedom to enjoy the world around me. Time seems to pass faster every year, and it's the last year of my 20's. I'm definitely craving some adventure and I look forward to meeting all sorts of characters that I can share a slice of life with.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I created this account because I'm taking the month of January off, packing my bike, a sleeping bag, a tent and some clothes and driving across the country. I've been doing the same thing living in the same place for longer than I'd like and I need to get out, meet some people, get out of my comfort zone and experience something new. I figure couch surfing is a good place to start. I'd appreciate any hospitality and will give back as much as I can. Bottom-Line: I look forward to growing in ways I could've never imagined and arriving home with stories I could never make up.

Intereses

First and foremost I love a good character. A person with depth, respect, an open mind and an adventurous spirit. You are the company you keep and I love some good old old fashion enthusiastic company. I'm not just looking for people like me, matter of fact I more so enjoy those who challenge my assumptions. I live for a good dialog! Wether comical, spiritual or just experiential, I'm a sponge for anyone with passion. I also just purchased a Fuji x100t camera. At this point I don't know much about photography but with some books, trial and error and a lot of beautiful sights I hope to come home with a brand new skill.

For music, I try to delve deep into an artist's catalog and absorb they're genius. I know it's subjective, but here's my list:
Tom Waits, Paul Simon, Radiohead, Jay-Z, Coldplay, Beethoven, Mozart, John Coltrane, The Beatles and yes... Kanye West ;)

Movies are so good when they are good... they know who they are.

I don't read literature. Sometimes I wish I did. I often just read to learn. I use books to either gain a perspective on an individual, a time in history, or the history of a phenomenon. I'm always trying to acquire novel information. I have a macro curiosity for the workings of this existence and I am grateful to live in a unique time where one can access: all the information ever. YouTube, Google and a book off Amazon.
