About Me

I love being out in nature, adventuring and enjoying the simple things in life such as playing cards/boardgames and drinking tea and chatting, but I'm also down to go on an adventure or a fun night out. Enjoy cooking and eating most types of (vegan) food and music and big environmentalist. Mostly I love to learn, whether it is about a new culture and politics, how someone lives, how to cook something, fix something or how to play a new game!

Can't wait to host couchsurfers of my own when I return back to Australia from my 10 month journey around Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My favourite part about travelling is meeting people and learning from different global perspectives and experiences, and couchsurfing allows me to meet amazing people and get the feel for how a city actually is. The amount of physical space humans take up makes no sense on this planet, and we are naturally meant to share space and socialise with people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Enjoy almost every type of music, from indie/alternative to jazz to hip hop/rap and even heavier rock and metal. ot much of a movie buff, but love to learn from books, in particular action and cli-fi (climate fiction) and fiction based on true events/locations/timelines. Favourite authors include Dan Brown, Yuval Noah Harari, Patricia Cornwell and Matthew Reilly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteered in a Nepalese village, working with students, professionals and importantly locals from the community to pitch design concepts to improve the standard of living of the community, particular in relation to the local water shortage.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn a broad range of things and have knowledge of as much as possible, not particularly an expert in anything. I can play drums and love learning to cook different recipes around the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook and I am more than happy to cook a meal with hosts and share a few drinks. I am a massive fan of Australian music (among others) and can give you a taste of how the music scene is from a diverse range of genres!
