About Me
Hi,
I'm 25 and looking to solo travel in a social way. At the moment I'm traveling to Morocco over land. On the way I want to learn about land skills that are both sustainable and resilient, connect with different people, cultures and environments!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I feel that doing things on a budget is when things really come to life. With all the money in the world I could stay in a beautiful hotel and not speech to a sole. The less we have the more we seek out others. Complete self relience doesn't leave room for connection
Interests
- gardening
- sustainability
- permaculture
- hiking and climbing
Music, Movies, and Books
Punk to Reggae to Indie and back. Skip most charts pop though.
Dyslexic as a guld fish, but enjoy audio books on politics, science fiction adventure.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Solo trekking in the Nepali Himalayas, Dhorphatana National Park following in the foot steps of Peter Matthiessen (author of The Snow Leopard)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a qualified rock climbing instructor and I'm always happy to go out climbing with people of all experience levels or even teach basic skills :)
I want to learn practical skills relating to self relience, sustainability and permaculture.
Happy to help with English exchange and would love to learn a little of your language too (sorry I'm very aware how bad the British are at that)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Love a good political conversation if its appropriate and always inspired by people's different takes on life. Help in the house, I cook a mean Dhal and other veggie food. Love working in the garden. Random and obscure nature facts 😅. I love talking about and teaching rock climbing.
