I'm a 21 year old guy who is really easy to get on with. I travel a lot and like to meet many people from different cultures and walks of life.

I studied and practised karate a lot from a young age and trained regularly in Japan since the age of 18. This sparked my interest for Japanese culture and philosophy and lead me to (try) and learn the language.

I am currently in Tokyo studying Japanese and teaching English at local schools. I train parkour/ freerunning regularly and love to live a healthy and happy lifestyle.

I am always looking to meet and learn from new people and experience new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend in Tokyo was kind enough to host me and told me he has had many great experiences in the USA through couch surfing. He told me to give it a try and I think it's a great idea.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music and recently listened to a lot of my friends Jazz collection. I loved the movie Django and really want to see Interstellar! Literally the only time I have to watch films is on planes... I need to find more time!

Nothing in particular but I passed my Nidan (second black belt) in the strictest dojo in Japan

I teach English a lot and am happy to help with your English if you like. I am also learning Japanese so can sometimes translate if it's simple enough.

I am also happy to teach karate and free running if you fancy it.
