CURRENT MISSION - SCOTLAND

The final chapter of my European adventure is the story of Scotland. I have spent a week here already walking the West Highland Way and have loved the scenes. My family emigrated from Scotland in the late 1800's and seeing some of the country that ancestors lived is really special.

ABOUT ME

My travels so far have been through England, Wales, Ireland, Portugal, Germany and now I am in Venice. The way I have been traveling has involved a lot of walking, camping and the pleasure of being hosted in the homes of people I meet.

Back home in New Zealand I study medicine, I have three more years of study and thought a year out of the text books would do me a world of good :)

I love meeting new people, getting to know new places and finding new beauty in the world.

I have had the most fun traveling when staying with locals in the places that I visit. It not only warms my heart that people are kind enough to open their doors to me but also the intimate knowledge of the area that locals are able to provide is priceless :)
I look forward to being able to return the goodwill when I go back home to New Zealand and am able to host travelers.

As an experienced camper I can share my extensive knowledge of campfire cooking! If the situation arises I would love to cook a meal for my host using the power of fire like our cavemen ancestors ;)
