I'm 21 years old and have always had a love for travel. I decided to take a break from working since I was a teen to travel and gain amazing life experience before i settle down next year and begin the process to open my own cafe. That's one thing I hope to take away. Meeting owners of locally owned businesses and building relationships so I have a better understanding of business.

My passions though are writing and music. Two heavy pushes for traveling so I can soak in all the musical diversity the world has to offer. Maybe one day I can write a book about the adventures I'm soon to have or even a song or two.

So far I've been to Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Hampshire, North and South Carolina, Virginia/West Virginia, Georgia, Florida and all the keys, Maine, and Canada. I know, I know... Not a totally impressive roster. Haven't been everywhere on the east coast yet so I plan to revisit some of those states. I think it would be amazing to go overseas this time next year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I need a fresh start, need to recharge my batteries. Some changes have to be made before I can settle, as cliche as it sounds I need to find out who I really am. Traveling extendedly will give me the culture shock I need to further my business goals, my music, and my writing.

I love all kinds of music. Very open minded when it comes to genres. My favorite book though is probably Republic Commando: Hard Contact.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Urban exploring and old insane asylum, I was on the roof (14 stories up) and the sun was setting. Overlooking a beautiful lake the sunset just shined in the most beautiful way I have never seen again. It's not super exciting, but it was sure beautiful.

I can teach you to write. I can teach you about poetry. I also make a good history tutor.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very clean person as in I don't live like a slob. I have carpentry experience, i can do interior painting, knowledgeable with propane, baking, pretty good on the grill outside, a lot of landscaping experience, or a running buddy. Can also teach meditation. I can even write you a poem if you like. Plus, I'm a good conversationalist and when being a host family, wouldn't you like your guest to be able to hold a conversation?
