I'm 22 and want to see more of the world. I graduated the University of Minnesota with an Undergraduate in Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Deviance (which sounds a bit more prestigious than it actually is) and a minor in Theatre. I enjoy Improvisational Comedy (watching and performing), as well as philisophical discussions on practically anything (I love my ideas/beliefs challeneged and can be a bit of a Devil's Advocate myself). I also enjoy reading works of fiction, especially short stories (they're so much easier to read than long novels, in my opinion, and you can finish them in one sitting), and playing video games. I like exploring, although I prefer to do that with groups or in pairs so I don't get stuck for 128 hours and have to hack off my arm with a pocket knife.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of adventure and love meeting new people. Having just graduated (and having 3 months left before the dreaded loan payments come for me in force), I figured now was the time to see and experience places I'd never been. Being poor, I was told by a friend about this site and I figured I'd give it a shot while I'm travelling between Sept 6th and Nov 13th, in an effort to save a little bit more money. If anyone has a couch to spare, or a yard for me to pitch my tent, I'd be very grateful. I'm also two arms and legs to be ordered around, as a way to earn my keep, if you need me to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Cambodia as part of a service learning trip my senior year of high school. While everyone had projects that they were trying to do to help the people over there, I couldn't think of a single thing. However, wherever we went to help, we always ended the day with a dance party that I like to think I inspired, at least in part to my funky fresh moves.
