About Me

I am a loud, outgoing and fun young man.
I am average height, average build and wear a gentleman's size 8 shoe.
I have tiny eyes and a big nose.
I work in the Swiss alps in the winter and then work with my uncle/ travel for the rest of the year. I love this lifestyle but my friends and family are less impressed.
I am adventurous and will try most things once. Heights and spiders do however terrify me.
I love to ski and play badminton.
I love Gin
I am a massive foodie. I love to cook, bake and most importantly eat.
I travel to eat the food, see the sights, embrace the culture and meet the locals and other travelers.
I just love meeting new people. Its one of the best things I can do with my life.
I'm not great at selling myself in an 'about me section' and rely on effectively bullet points.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined as it has been recommended to me on countless occasions. Only heard great things.
I'm hoping to pick a locals brain in order to see the actual highlights of the places I visit. Put it this way. If a tourist comes to London they see what they have been told by the lonely planet to see and they either love it or, insanely, sometimes don't love it. The joy of London is away from the big tourist zones. We Brits know that and I want to find the joy in all of the places I visit.
I love hostels but a cheeky night on someones sofa can help me spend money elsewhere. I'm a budget traveler after all.
Ultimately however i'd like to make a new friend - as I do in all walks of life - and someone so kind as to let a stranger sleep in their place and maybe show them around is certainly a friend id like to make.
