My name is Luke,

I live and work in Launceston, I work from home three days and out four days. when I am at home I am usually editing videos for the university or photographing. I have travelled in Asia several times as well as Europe. I lived in Spain for four years, so I still speak Spanish (Not fluently but pretty well.) I love cooking and music. I also do creative work, writing and performing. I have worked in cinema, advertising, hospitality etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Moving back to Tasmania (I grew up here.) from Europe was both amazing and difficult. I am used to engaging with a wide variety of people from across the globe. I love my home town but I miss the diversity of ideas and characters one encounters abroad. I have joined really just to meet new people. Tasmanian can be an amazing place to travel, although without a bit of local knowledge it can seem a bit quiet. I have travelled a fair bit so I know how important it can be to have a cosy place to crash and someone to connect you with other amazing people!

I have two large bookcases filled with great literature. I love movies and couldn't possibly choose a favourite. Same goes for music!
