I'm travelling through Japan for a month (Nov - Dec '18) and looking for some great people to stay with who can show me the sights, teach me a little about the history and get away from the beaten tourist track.

Last year I spent several months backpacking through SE Asia where I was bitten by a deadly spider, rode Vietnam on motorbike, 10 day silent retreat & drank opium alcohol. Don't worry I'll try not to bore you too much with those though.
