My name is Luke Richardson and I am 18 years old. I've lived on the Gold Coast, Australia for my entire life in a family of five, including my mum and dad, and an older brother and sister. I have 2 British bulldogs named Winston and Halo and after just graduating High school on the Gold Coast, I am set to make a move down to Melbourne to begin my Commerce degree at RMIT University.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing due to my desire to travel whilst also making new friendships and receiving knowledge only a local could give. I would definitely have to say the largest reason is for the relationships Couchsurfing creates though. I've stayed in my fair share of hostels and can easily say that the memories and bonds created through Couchsurfing are far stronger in comparison to those formed staying at hostels.

Intereses

I enjoy hanging/going out with friends, playing sport (basically everything but especially basketball), eating different foods, watching movies, video games, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures and trying adventurous things.

Música, películas y libros

I can't say I've read many books. I feel as though when I do get the chance to read for pleasure I should instead be spending the time reading textbooks. Not that I actually do that, but that is how I feel so I normally just end up avoiding doing both ahaha As far as movies go, I love watching mainly comedy and action movies as well as Game of Thrones, Suits and Breaking Bad.

An amazing thing I've done is:

- Captain the state of Queensland, Australia in Basketball.

- Ziplining through the jungle in Chiang Mai.

- Attending a basketball camp at the University of North Carolina (the college Michael Jordan went to) and meeting his coach.

- Quadbiking through the jungle in Bali.

- Traveling around Europe for 2 months (currently in progress)

I feel like I should also add in that I went into 'The Games' house and hung out with him and his whole entourage inside his kitchen. That was definitely one of the coolest things I have ever done. For those of you who don't know who The Game is, he's a very famous rapper hahah

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I can share with hosts a variety of stories and experiences relative to my own culture and life events. I like to think of myself as someone fun and enjoyable to be around, ultimately hoping to provide any host with the respect and positive experience that they deserve, as I understand the favour they are doing for me. Also, I have had long stints living by myself and thus believe myself to be very independent and responsible. In addition to cleaning up after myself and respecting the property, I am more than willing to provide hosts with extra help that they may need.
