Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I did some couchsurfing in June 2014 for two weeks in Vietnam. I would like to return the favour for people who come to Sydney.

I WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE TO HOST OVER CHRISTMAS/NEW YEARS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with Dat in Ho Chi Minh which was a great experience. I got to know him, his family and friends who were all very sweet and kind to me. There were many fun times and I got to do many things you wouldn't be able to unless you knew Vietnamese people.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like quality musicianship. This means Snarky Puppy, Pink Floyd, Nujabes, James Brown, Tom Waits, Beyonce, Gorillaz, Joe Hisaishi, Miles Davis, Amy Winehouse, Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, Charles Mingus, Janelle Monae to name a few...

I like movies that have happy endings, are hilarious or kick ass or a mix of everything. Movies must have interesting plots. Tarantino, The Godfather, Clint Eastwood, James Bond, Robin Williams, Jackie Chan, Naked Gun and Dylan Moran.

TV: Black Books, Community, The Young Ones, Suits, Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, Police Squad etc.

I have a tendancy to read biographies about great leaders or people. I also love crime and spy novels.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Went to the Philippines (through AIESEC) for six weeks where I taught English, Business and IT skills at Life Project 4 Youth Foundation. Such friendships and eye opening experiences! I even became a Godfather whilst there!

I find that all people have something cool and interesting to contribute to life. Some people take a longer time to get to know or understand but all have a positive contribution to make. I hope to learn all I can from you.
