Recently graduated from Newcastle University and started work as an engineer. I am from Birmingham and will be moving to Sheffield in September 2018 for work. I am native english speaker with conversational skills in Chinese(Cantonese) looking to improve.

When I visit new countries and places I want to get away from the "tourist trail". I want to see what the places are actually like and experience things from a locals point of view. I also want to meet like minded people interested in languages, travel and culture.

If anyone is interested in what it is like to Live in England or about British culture I am more than happy to share it with them. I have some experience learning languages and am always interested to talk about and share ideas on how to better improve my language learning.
