I am a recent college graduate on the search for a job, if I have to be, I guess. I hope to become a software engineer or work in the video game industry.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am going on a roadtrip this summer as an excuse to not get a real job yet. Couchsurfing seems like a great way to find places to stay.

Interests

Math and computer science, programming. I am also interested in writing and literature. I used to read a lot but I guess I forgot how to in college. I play far too many video games, including StarCraft 2 and Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: mostly into rap and riot grrrl. I'm pretty entry level, though.

A few lifetimes ago when I read books I like Cormac McCarthy, James Joyce and Homer. My favorite book is The Sound and the Fury. Like I said, haven't read anything in a while.

My favorite movies, in no particular order, are American Beauty, Godzilla vs. Mothra, The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly, Mean Girls and Goodbye, Dragon Inn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've never really done anything interesting in my life. I used to be pretty involved with falconry if that counts. I still have a lot of residual knowledge about birds.
