About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Expanding my comfort zone through traveling! Seeing what the world has to show us!
ABOUT ME
I think the outdoors is the best thing in the world, followed closely by music and movies. I spend most of my summers working at a summer camp in the northwoods of Wisconsin, United States teaching kids how to canoe, sail, camp, sing songs, and just have fun. I am in college studying primary education, but I'm taking my time with it. There's no sense in growing up too fast! I can tell I'm becoming more like my Dad as I get older, so I've already come to the fact that I will be a goofy man with an endless sense of adventure.
PHILOSOPHY
Traveling is addicting. Meeting other travelers to travel with and swapping travel stories just makes me want to travel even more. It's a vicious cycle.
Interests
One of my favorite things is a cloudless sky at night. The stars never cease to amaze me, and I think they have a lot of stories to tell. They've seen it all! I love playing and just being outside. Stepping out of the tent and taking that first breath of crisp, refreshing morning air always makes everything feel right. Scuba diving is a big hobby of mine. The underwater world is a crazy place to see, and you really just have to witness it for yourself. Also, it's one of the only places where you can really feel weightless as you drift over a reef. Spectacular. I like reading stories about people finding their life's purpose and the journey they take to get there. I'm always down for a bike ride or tossing around the frisbee. And taking a nap in a hammock. Oh, and golfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Well I worked in a movie theatre for 5 years -- selling popcorn and cleaning up soda spills and whatnot -- so I have seen my fair share of movies. It's too tough to decide on a favorite...there are just too many. Same goes for music. Also, I wish I read more books, but I do particularly love "On The Road" by Jack Kerouac and "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first time I climbed a mountain was really incredible, just being able to hear the silence at the peak, as well as the slight grumble of the mountain. Very memorable. Also, one time when I was camping in a place called Sylvania Wilderness in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, United States, there was the most brilliant night sky I had ever seen. I canoed to the middle of the lake so there were no trees in my view, and it was honestly a better sky than looking in a planetarium.
