About Me

Yo! My name is Luke and I'm 25yr. old from Oregon&Washington state. I love being spontaneous, and taking adventures outdoors and indoors. I love the vibes going on here and always looking to make some new friendships on here from either hosting or traveling.

A lot can be said, but currently I'm Starting a new chapter of my life, moving from Portland, OR to Denver, Colorado as of 10/09/17. My new mission in life is creating new wealth from a new personal business I just learned and developing more deep friendships with both males and females.

I love music. EDM is my favorite main genre, sub genre being hip-hop and classically infused bass beats. I have seen over 100 live shows within the last two years & love listening to unique artists on SoundCloud. I have a huge database of songs I've liked on there. I found my love for freestyle dancing from all these experiences.

I have also been playing tennis for 10+ years; played D3 in college, skiing---Ran my colleges Ski Club for 3 years as President there, old school video games are my favorite, proud N-64 owner; big time nerd at heart--video games rock. I also found out about disc golf recently and love that sport. Ultimate Frisbee is always a blast too. And even just simply running in the woods or going for a hike, enjoying nature.

In all I love the concept of this app, being able to host people or being able to find a host while traveling. Currently, I'm looking for the latter! Look forwards to meeting you all :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently b/c I found out about it from a close friend, experienced him hosting some French couple for a night, and am just seeking a place to stay when I have to travel for work to new locations each week, when I don't have a hotel already covered. Make sense? Oh yeah and making new friends locally is always fucking cool too. So don't be shy, lets chat and go do fun stuff outside together!

Interests

Described them above, but I went to this music festival called "What The Fest" on Mt. Hood in June 2015 (where the dragonfly pic is from) and it changed my life & overall perspective on music & dance & being completely free to express oneself. I like to tell people that that music experience---it beat out skydiving in New Zealand...of all glorious places too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books about self-improvement. Music explained above...why do I keep getting ahead of myself haha. Classic movies to the newest ones are always fun. Disney, animation, comedy, action/adventure, sci-fi thriller...all the best.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

How about 5?
*Ran a Ski club & skiied on Mt. Hood multiple times. Ski Bowl & Meadows for mult. years
*Visitied 5 countries so far: Australia, New Zealand, Panama, Costa Rica & Canada.
*Skydived, Saw Hobiton face to face, floated in a secret tunnel river and survived the World's LARGEST Swing all in NewZealand
*Went Ziplining in Costa Rica on the Tree Tops; helped rebuild a school. Played soccer all over Panama in warm heavy rain and all.
*Spring Break during college 2013 I went on a 4,000 mile roadtrip in 8 days, stayed 2 nights in a hotel...rest was in a car, wish I knew about this site back then! Got to see the Grand Caynon and celebrate my 21st Birthday in LA, doesn't get any better than that!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Positive experience, Friendship, food, love; very open-minded and down to earth, as in I'm not shy or nervous much & socially understand most norms, ya digg homes?(slang) I can share creative ideas and inform of Local attractions too. Crazy adventures await us to experience together. Always looking to have the most FUN. Life is made to creat the most JOY in our experiences together . It would be foolish to do otherwise.
