ABOUT ME

Well, what to say. My name is Luke and I love music. I listen to nearly anything and I play the guitar and sing and also attempt to play other instruments. I write my own music and have been in a few bands and taught guitar over the years. I'm just new to travelling and I am currently on my first trip! I've been in Europe since February and I will stick around until the end of October. When I first came I lived in Poland for four months and taught english. Definetly a highlight of my trip!! Had a lot of amazing experiences and would recommend Poland to anyone. I like nature and love animals, and also history, surfing and wakeboarding. I come from the country and I love camping and fishing also. Im a pretty social person and I like to meet new people. Im also a big believer in karma and I guess you could say I live my life by it. Next year I will be back in Aust to study, at the moment im thinking journalism. Cheers for reading.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to give surfing a go. Not just for the money saving but also for the experience. Theres only one way to find out if its for you or not i figure and thats to go for it! I would also love to be able to offer a couch but with travelling this year and then heading home to begin uni, I'm not so sure when I will have a couch to offer, but I'm sure one day I will be able to return the favour to others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Auschwitz. It wasn't amazing in the usual sense, but for me it was one of the most raw experiences of my life. Nothing held back, just as it is. An incredible personal experience. The more people who see these sights, the less likely anything like this will ever happen again. It was emotional, and so many more things, it really is one of the most difficult yet valuable experiences I have, or will, ever have.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm, life isn't tricky just to be a bastard. It's tricky so we learn to appreciate and find happiness in the littlest of things. Sometimes things may seem bad, but I can almost grantuee that if you really think, the positives will almost always out way the negatives. It's just that the negatives are more obvious. It's what humans do, we fixate!!
