About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am on a mission to live creatively. Music, food and community are at the core of my journey.

ABOUT ME

I am part of an 11-person musical group who all live in a large house in East Nashville, Tennesee. We have some extra floor space and other random sleeping arrangements available and are interested in meeting cool like-minded people. All are welcome to visit our house (we call it "Hotel Chicamauga"). If you are a musician playing a gig in Nashville, we might be able to give you a place to crash for a night.

As far as myself, I am a amiable person who is quick to make friends. I love to show people around my house and my city. I love good food, good music, and great views. The only thing better than that is good people to share it with. When I am not traveling, it gives me great pleasure to host those who are so that I may travel vicariously through their stories. And I will no doubt learn a thing or two while I am at it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host travelers at my house, and I love every minute of it.

I have a feeling I will be surfing in the future when I get back to traveling, so right now I am building my couch karma.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The couchsurfing experience is unpredictable...which is something I love about it. Someone you have never met before needs shelter, and when you bring them into your home a level of trust and understanding is reached. Every couchsurfer I have hosted has been a complete stranger to begin with, but a good friend when they depart. They bring a random, foreign influence to my life which holds me over till I travel once again.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any form of media that can expand my mind or stretch my perception, and that progresses creatively with new sounds or ideas I haven't been exposed to before. I also enjoy any movie, music or book that can take me to another world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The view of the stars in the middle of nowhere in the Andes, the middle of the night with no moon, while using a primitive outdoor bathroom...this is one of the most amazing sights I've seen.

There is no end to the amazement I get from watching plants grow.
