I'm an open minded and adventurous guy. I'm all about experiences, good or bad, these are what help us grow as people, and world travel certainly provides us with a lot of enriching experiences. I believe in a simple life, try to avoid the stress and emptiness that comes with the pursuit of money, I live for today and look forward to tomorrow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host many people in my house on and off couch surfing. I am an active member
in the local Cs scene

I have met many new friends through couch surfing, mostly hosted and attended events but started to surf more.

Interests

I love to learn languages and feel it a sign of respect to learn at least a few phrases if not more from all the countries I visit. I love music, every aspect of it. When I'm not listening to it I'm playing guitar,bass, keyboard or producing it on my computer. I'm not so artistic myself I do a little 3D design, but I have a real appreciation for art and the artists that create it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - literally any genre, I'm a DJ so I love music

Film - mostly world cinema and indie films not a big fan of Hollywood. Some favourites are Oldboy, Amelie, Studio Ghibli Films, Kakujiro no natsu, Science of sleep.....

Books - biographies and fact, a lot of stuff about new technologies. Wild Swans, Red Dust, Men are from mars women are from venus...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Celebrated the rice harvest with Cambodian hill tribes, drank lots of rice wine and danced all night to trance in a little wooden hut, then slept overnight in the middle of the jungle and had breakfast and morning tea cooked in a bamboo tube.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a teacher and student of language. I'm always looking for better ways to teach and improve the language acquisition process. I love to teach people the guitar and usually have most people playing the basics within a few hours.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to share travel experiences, give tips on the countries I have travelled to, learn about your country and culture. I have taught for a long time, English, programming, 3d design and many other things. Always willing to share and learn from others.
