ABOUT ME

A paradox between intelectual laziness and insatiable curiosity. I am very found and empathetic to the individuals of this and other species, very very few are offensive to me. My most valuable possesions are memories and stories from people who have shared experiences with me. I am an unbeliever with an endless interest in the faith and philosophies of others. Why is my favorite question and I have no favorite answer. Art, in every form, is my sanities home base and I believe it is humanities greatest accomplshment. Great conversation is my favorite pass time.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophie is as of yet incomplete. I live my life because it was forced upon me. Yes I have feelings and although the evidence is sometimes week I also have thoughts.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have no official participation in CS but unofficialy I have been host and surfer all of my adult life. I am spreading the word about this to all of my friends and I'm guessing that there will be joiners of both hosts and surfers among them. Today I am a surfer only but I look forward to being a host as soon as I have my own place again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While hitchhiking around in the united states I have shared the sleeping space of tents, cars, vans and houses. My exwife and I once were given the keys to a mans house along with the instructions to be kind to all visitors. This became a 5 week responsibility but resulted in some life long friendships.

Interests

I enjoy the "natural" world, hicking , climbing ect. I like most music and most art. I am most effected by literature and I would most like to produce it.

Music, Movies, and Books

jazz is a staple but a good diet includes a little of all types of music. I love the Ween but I use it in moderation most times. I start more books than I finish and the list grows faster than I can keep up with. One day I hope to truly comprehend Ulysses but as of yet I tend to drown in this stream of conciousness. Tom Robbins lifts my head up Lewis Black makes me laugh. I love good movies and always wonder why the most popular are often the worst.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I pulled Sarah out of the way of a speeding car. I watched Sophie come out of a comma.
