About to embark on my first solo adventure to the U.S.A for 3 months. Want to see and do as much as possible and meet new peoples!

ABOUT ME

Im 23, From Guildford (which is just south of London btw). I like to explore new places and the outdoors and always game for any outdoor activities (Hiking, cycling, sports). I'm pretty easygoing so im just as happy chilling out with some drinks, good food and good company. I love listening to music, especially live music and would be lost without my Ipod, it comes everywhere with me. Like most Brits i love a good cup of tea too :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im on Couchsurfing as the site was recommended to me from a friend. I want to use it to meet new people whilst im travelling through America and hopefully be hosted by some interesting people. My main source of Accommodation will be hostels but i think it would be cool to try some couch surfing as well and meet more local people.

I would like to host people but that is currently up to my housemate and homeowners discretion

Interests

Like most people on here i like to explore and travel. Im pretty active and enjoy playing team sports like football and hockey. I like watching football, Fulham FC in particular and lots of other sports, i really want to go to see some American sports. I also enjoy going mountain biking, hiking and outdoor shenanigans in cool places. My favourite place to go when i lived in Plymouth was Dartmoor National Park, lots of cool hills and rocks to climb and streams to swim in.

I enjoy 'going out' and having a few drinks, whether its in a quite pub with good friends or in a busy bar. Im really looking forward to eating lots of delicious food as well, im a big fan of Tex mex and Mexican foods. Having said that i enjoy all food!

Music, Movies, and Books

Like i said above i like pretty much all foods, my favourites being Mexican cuisine, big fan of spicy food and pizza, obviously! O and you cant beat a Sunday roast dinner.

I have a pretty varied and constantly changing Music taste it depends what mood im in: But I like punk/alternative rock so stuff like Brand New, TBS, Rage Against the Machine etc.

I watch a lot of sitcoms and comedy's. I have re watched all of Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Office, Peep Show numerous times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to say as this trip im going on is probably going to the best thing i have ever done. Kayaking the Ardeche River in France when i was younger was pretty cool, as was interaling round Europe. Once i got over 2 million points for a trick on Tony Hawks on the game cube when i was drunk, was pretty proud of that.
