Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I traveled a bit while studying abroad and stayed with some pretty awesome couchsurfers. Five years have passed, but I recently decided that it was time to wipe the dust of my profile here, as I still love to explore the world when I have the time and I recently acquired a place of my own to share back.

My usual hobbies include playing quidditch, reading a good book, making hard cider, and knitting (in order of frequency).

Music, Movies, and Books

Typically, I enjoy alternative music along the lines of Regina Spektor, Sara Bareilles, or Ingrid Michaelson. Movies and books vary pretty widely as well, though of course Harry Potter takes precedence. Did you see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked to the top of Mount Olympus. Thinking back on that day makes me feel like I can accomplish anything.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have picked up a few useful skills along the way. I can teach you how to knit a scarf, say a few key phrases in French, or get the quaffle through the hoops on a fast break against a no-bludger defense.
