ABOUT ME

Hello Humans, were to start I am 20 years old and a California native born and raised. i have been given the oppurtunity of a life time and for the past 6 months i have been studying in Bilbao, Spin. The Basque country has become my second home. I have spent my time here exploring the city, surfing and most of all practicing and improving my spainish skills. I hope one day to be a fluent spanish speaker. My time here has given me so many life opportunities. My next adventure will start in June when i am moving to Finland for the summer to work as an Au Per on a summer resort. Before i go to Finland i want to take the time to travel and see more of Europe and after my summer job ends i will be traveling eastern Europe on the EuroRail. Anything else you would like to know feel free to ask i am an open book

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couch Surfing is a new experience for me. I herd of it for the first time 6 months ago when i moved to Bilbao. I have couch surfed before and it was awesome. I love meeting new people and exploring a city with a locals perspective. Im not always into the touristy things and i often like to wander off the beaten path, CS is in my mind the best way to do this. I am free to host surfers in Bilbao until I move to Finland for the summer to give me a holler if your in Bilbao

Interests

I am alway on the go. I hate to waste a day. I always am keeping myself busy with something. The outdoors are were i belong. My favorite days are the days i spend, hiking, biking, surfing, playing sports with the homies or just chilling at the beach. Im always down to try new things and go on adventures, thats what i think life is about; exploring new avenues. When i'm not out and about i love to just kick it with friends, have a beer or four and shot the breezy. i also really enjoy cooking. This is my new found passion. i love being in the kitchen, trying new things and experimenting with new recipes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Had the opportunity to teach English in local Spanish schools in Bilbao, an experience I wont ever forget. This was an oppertunity that i would never have gotten back in the United States. It was really fun to be given the freedom to teach a full class of students. They were all so ready and excited to learn. I found myself going to the school early to just hang out with my students before class, talk to them more and really connect and bond with alot of them.
