I graduated from Carleton College at the end of November with a degree in Cinema and Media Studies. Since then, I have been spending as much time as possible traveling. I spent December backpacking through Peru and visiting Machu Picchu. During January, I visited friends in New York and Chicago. After a brief stint at home, I am back on the road again. I am hoping to pursue a career in film, but am taking the time to travel before I begin a serious commitment. I recently joined Couchsurfing because I heard it was a great way to meet people and find cheap places to stay. While I'm gone, my parents have opened my room to anyone who wants to visit Southern Minnesota.

I am traveling west to eventually meet up with my college roommate in San Francisco. I am hoping to see the sights along the way and stop at as many national parks as I can. Being a recently graduated college student, I don't have the money to stay in hotels along the way, and am hoping to the rely on the generosity of couchsurfers to make it.
