About Me

I love to adventure, and explore. Getting out on the road/ocean and seeing new places keeps my blood moving, and a smile on my face. I also love to sing, and I do regularly, regardless of my surroundings - in the car, walking down the street, shopping, karaoke, restaurants - anywhere. I love to find the well-kept secrets of remote (or not-so-remote) places. Live music, and being a spirited crowd fuels my soul.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want locals to show me the best food and entertainment wherever I'm traveling. Staying at a hotel can feel so much more sterile and boring than being in a person's home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to Angel Falls in Venezuela - the tallest waterfall in the world. More recently, I wrangled a wild rattlesnake, and relocated it without injuring it or myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to snowboard, change a tire/oil, basic bicycle maintenance/repairs, basic guitar, advanced bass, and how to take a real good photograph.
I'd like to get better at surfing and meditating.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, mix drinks, sing, and I know a ton of jokes. I am handy, and can help with carpentry and basic mechanical things. And I'm a great exploring companion - I pack light, yet am well-prepared with essentials, I am down for almost any adventure, almost anywhere - the wilder the better. I'm a real good road trip/hiking buddy too.
