About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To keep and fill an open mind

ABOUT ME

I like to think I’m a friendly guy, who is genuinely interested in the world we live in, and, perhaps . . . . . . even the worlds we don’t : ) As such I like to spend a good amount of my time travelling to the places I can reach, to learn what I can from the people and environments I encounter.

PHILOSOPHY

I’m not sure I could explain my personal philosophy to myself just yet! Let’s call it a work in progress. However, there are some things I feel quite certain of, and things I know I’ve yet to fully understand. On both these counts, and I suppose regarding any of my beliefs, I try to be actively honest with myself. So perhaps in that we have something of a philosophy: only doubt what you feel you really believe in if you are afraid to question the origins of your beliefs. Or something like that!

Interests

Along with travelling and learning about life, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family (particularly my niece and nephew), reading, writing, playing and listening to music, dabbling in art and science, and while busying myself with these things I - try at least - to keep fairly fit and healthy . . . . . Oh, and I do like to have a good chat too : )

Music, Movies, and Books

I like films, I love music, and I read books across a range of genres and topics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been fortunate enough to have seen and done quite a few things that people may consider amazing. But for me, I still feel constantly amazed by the perplexing nature of people above anything else. I feel blessed to have been able to watch my sisters children growing up, and feel as proud to have been a part of their lives, and the lives of the rest of my family and friends, as anything else I may have done or achieved.
