ABOUT ME

all about me in this box..ummm..
so, the most important thing..travelling, getting to know people and cultures...more than travelling, i love living abroad, as thats how i have more chances to get to know the culture from the place..
besides that, i love reading..good books that make u stay reading even while eating, thats one of the amazing arts i worship! and then, all kinds of art..i paint, i do jewelry, and a bit of many things..i studied arts before uni and its something that i am developing...
i love to go to museums (but just those interesting for me...like museums of modern-contemporary art, or photography exhibitions).
And cooking!!another of my passions...having a lot of people around, share a nice meal, talk and talk after it....much better than going to a disco!!although i go to discos too from time to time...
then music, i love reggae, balkan music, good classics, putumayo..music from the world!
Cinema, good classics (i.e. Hitchcock), independent non-mainstream movies, and documentaries!
One of my most important passions, and which has become my profession, is contributing to making this word a fairest and nicest place for all, and for the future generations, so I try to align to that mission 24/7, in all aspects of my life.
Recycling and any activity related to that are at the bellybottom of my existence.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Despite hearing since childhood that i should be careful, that people are not "good", i hold my theory now that love exists and nice people too..i think it is something like: you receive what you give! -Karma- so if u send love to the world, love will come back to you! for sure..and a better world exists...the world that i see in spain whenever i go back...people sharing everything and the mindset of "everyone has to eat, and where 2 people eat, 3 can eat too"! I dislike this rushing life, where people live to work, and leave behind such important things as family or/and friends..
having time for oneself and for others is one of the priviledges that everyone should enjoy, isntead of working so much to buy so much shit, like a huge house or expensive car...thats my theory..and to enjoy the little pleasures of life, or, to start with, finding them!
so, the way I contribute is both offering my place whenever I can, and staying with adorable people from around the globe.. I have hosted people, mainly in Sri Lanka, who have become friends that I hope I keep forever, and, likewise, I have been hosted by amazing people in California, India, etc etc that really made me understand a new concept of travelling. Thanks CS!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i had my first experience couchsurfing a couch in bangalore, and by myself!!! it was amazing to meet this people and a beautiful frienship developed after that! i send a kiss to the creator of this site!
CS reinforces my idea that a better world exists!
i also got to know many nice people via CS,we didnt surf eachother couches but had great moments together and now i have more friends in my heart!
After that i couchsurfed in California and it was great!! such nice people i met!! always in my heart as the best part of the trip!!
And then, in Sri Lanka, I hosted super cool people that made my place be alive!

Everything!!!thats the thing!!i have no time to do everything i would like to do..

I love learning about nutrition and how food impacts the way we are (we are what we eat!).. I try to follow a plant-based diet, and Im exploring a raw-vegan lifestyle, and macrobiotics..

I aim at trying to save this planet!!or contributing as much as I can to it!
recycling!!
international cooperation: anything related to helping out children in orphan houses, children from the streets, and especially, child soldiers.. also very interested in empowering women and less advantaged people in society..
DDR (demobilisation, disarment and reintegration) of ex-combatants of war is becoming one of the most important things im learning lately..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

me not being able to finish a three-kinds of chocolate crêpe in Canada..that doesnt happen every day..
also amazing...i see my desired life, or lets say my future, everytime i am in bed and cant sleep..thats an amazing life and little by little im getting there!
then, listening to la brass banda live in berlin was really cool!
and the plitzvika (or whatever we write it like)lakes in croatia..
st. basil cathedral in moscow was cool too ;)
volunteering for 6 months in an orphanage in India has been the most fulfulling experience in my life, making me learn many important things for life, learning to give the right value to things in life!
Seeing monkeys getting fleas out of eachother.. and seeing how similar we are to them was amazing too!

Looking at the eyes of people I love is absolutely the most amazing thing of all!
