To hear what people think and see how they live in different parts of the globe. Every time when we become bold (or dumb) enough to think that we already know, we get very surprised.

ABOUT US

Right now we’re traveling in Morocco and trying to summarize what we’ve achieved in life and where we want to go from this point.
Margarita has a big long-term passion for photography and renewed passion for drawing, which was forgotten for some time after school.
Simonas is trying his hand in short story and screen writing, has written couple of scripts, one has even made a day light and became quite popular short film in Lithuania. From early years he was interested in history and politics, it has become a hobby since he’s been ten.

At some point in our life we’ve fallen in love with the nature, began camping, traveling, hiking. We love people, socializing and good parties.

Liberté, égalité, fraternité

It’s good in the wilds but civilization is more comfortable.

Interests

Fine arts, contemporary arts, cinema, tattoos, books, politics and history (especially ex Soviet Union area), playing all kinds of games, laugh hard and often, long walks, socializing, camping in the nature, sharing stories, cooking and eating, parties with loads of conversations or/and good music, real stories from lives of other people and humans in general. That’s why we like cities and can’t stay out of civilization for long.

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES: Amelie, Zatoichi (2003), Restrepo, What we do in shadows, The Matrix, everything of Miyazaki, most of Tarantino, Firefly TV, Rome TV, Utopia TV and much more.

BOOKS: Mumintroll, Pippi Longstocking, Ronia the robber's daughter, Harry Potter, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, 1984, Father Goriot, J.R.R. Tolkien, Umberto Eco, Mika Waltari. It’s just a page form all the books we’ve read and loved.

MUSIC: We like to listen to wide range of music: from underground tekno to all kinds of chillout, from Pink Floyd to contemporary Balkan music. We are less interested in Eurovision and fast changing pop scene.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We visited Kiev, capital of Ukraine, at the last stage of the revolution. Three days spent in Maidan square made bigger impact on us than months of traveling peaceful countries.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Margarita can draw a cartoonish picture of you and Simonas cooks pretty well. If you want we can teach you some Lithuanian :)
