ABOUT ME
I'm 20 years old. As for what I'm doing in school currently enrolled in University of Rhode Island. I just finished spending the year on exchange at Rutgers University. While I was there I was hoping to find some direction, and be a little closer to my hometown in the process. While I was there gained a major interest in Anthropology. Hoping to move back to URI next January to continue for my B.A. in Anthropology.
As for now I'm working major overtime at a group home with developmentally disabled individuals. Hoping to save a little cash before going back to school ;.
Nowadays to pass the time I like hang around my friends and family, read, listen to music (starting to sound like every profile ever written but they're fun stuff to do!)
PHILOSOPHY
There's never one that can adhere to every situation. SO I like take in whole bunch to use when it feels right. I guess that's a philosophy in itself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I rent a bedroom and bathroom from my aunt that's not full furnished yet. However, I moved to the area a year ago and have done some exploring. I'm totally open to meeting for a coffee or drink and sharing my finds.
Interests
For some reason I have the biggest attraction to the world of Natural Hair. So I've decided to start experimenting with my hair. I used to have a huge afro. Wore twists for a while but shaved it off last December in an effort to cut the maintenance time. Surprisingly I loved the short hair :) and still do but I'm wondering what to do next.
I love youtube and stumbling. Both have taken me places I never thought existed on the internet.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading. The last book I loved was Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, earlier this year. Right now, I'm on Love in the Time of Cholera. However I've already seen the movie and I have the worst habit of spoiling the end for myself. So books suggestions would be wonderful. In movies I loved Kiki's Delivery Service and fell in the world of Miyazaki movies which never fail to keep me entertained. Kick Ass was wonderful for me, along with The Losers, and Inglorious Bastard. TV's not mentioned but I like True Blood, Modern Family, and Parks and Recreation.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't know what's considered amazing these days. But lately I've rediscovered the world of manga in a way I didn't realize before. That was pretty dope for me
