About Me

ABOUT ME
i work in education and I love people and their stories.
i see traveling (or meeting travelers) as great opportunities to enjoy life, learn, grow and share.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i had good couchsurfing experiences thanks to my lovely hosts. they made my stay in their cities so much more worthwhile. it made me anxious to help and meet other people at home.
i've been a compulsive host for a year, while i lived near Nazareth, but now i live in Tel Aviv and I can't really host anymore. hope my hosting days are not over!

Interests

i am interested in almost everything. always looking for the cause/story/myth behind the visible reality.
i love cultures, and the history of art, architecture, literature, languages.
i also enjoy eating sweets, walking, drinking from a bottle, complaining, seeing breathtaking views, seeing only nice views, learning how to cook new things, having a good talk about a bad movie.

Music, Movies, and Books

my taste is very varied. I enjoy most works of art that are self- aware to the guidelines of the genre... not total clichés... though sometimes even clichés are honest and represent a big trueth.
for me, art, dance, cinema, literature and music are the true taste of life. the things that makes life worthwhile.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i've hiked in beautiful places and met great people on the way. i've walked the Camino Santiago along the Atlantic ocean. i've seen most exsisting paintings by Pieter Brueghel the Elder. i lived in an urban kibbutz for almost 10 years, and more…
but i think my most amazing experience is being an art teacher, working with teenagers, uncovering the joy and power of art and it's language.
It's not always easy or fun.
i love art and i love people, but teaching can sometimes drive you away from both. some other times it's like working in pure love.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Azerbaijan, France, Jordan, Poland, Spain, United States
