Hi! My name is Olive and…where to even begin! First, I was going to travel with my partner Lucian but now it’s just me, and Couchsurfing won’t let me change my name😳

I’m from LA, and just graduated college in Boston for film and sociology. I spent summers and winters in New York, from visiting my grandparents in the city to spending summers at sleep away camp. My dream is to move to NYC to pursue filmmaking, but first I want to see the world.

The pandemic prevented me from studying abroad during college, and otherwise I have only been to Europe once. There is so much I want to do and see in the world it’s overwhelming, and I am taking this opportunity between school and beginning my career to see some of the many wonderful places I’ve always wanted to go.

My plans are loose, but right now I’m starting my journey in Paris, and planning on exploring southern Europe — Italy, Croatia, Greece, Portugal. I arrive in early September and will be staying for at least 1 month, but I have no flight home :)

A little more about me, I love art, specifically music, film, and writing. I love learning about myself and others through engaging, profound conversations. I am incredibly passionate about social justice and hope to utilize my art to try and make the world a bit better. I love meeting new people and I can’t wait to connect!
