My name is Lulu and I'm currently a engineering student at the University of Waterloo. I love everything arts related whether that be movies, fashion, illustration, theatre. I currently work in the tech industry so I'm also super stoked about the advancement of tech and the new innovations in that field as well.

Travelling has always been a passion of mine and I try to go out as much as possible when I have the time. In this past year I've travelling to Italy: Rome, Pompeii, Amalfi Coast, Florence, Cinque Terre, the Vatican, Monaco, France: Nice and Toulouse, United States: New York. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend actually introduced me to the wonderful world of Couchsurfing. I think the travelling community is filled with some of the kindest and most open minded people I've ever met. Travelling has taught me more about life and learning to take things in new perspectives than anything else in my life. Above all, I love meeting people from all different walks of life and making new friends, hence Couchsurfing makes a great platform to do so :)

Music:
This changes all the time! Some artists I'm listening to right now include: Rex Orange County, Brockhampton, Anderson .paak, Tyler the Creator... a lot of indie, hip hop and rap currently. Some staple artists for me are Arctic Monkeys, Cage the Elephant and Marina and the Diamonds

Favourite Movies:
This is hard because I'm a big movie fanatic and can hold a conversation about movies forever. Some all time favourites off the top of my head are: Blade runner, Leon the Professional, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Moonrise Kingdom, The Florida Project and In the Mood for Love.

Books: Currently reading Black Hole by Charles Burns and Call me by Your Name by André Aciman
