ABOUT ME

I'm Lucie, 31 and french. I did my master in Law in Lyon in 2006 and I fell in love with the city. I haven't left it (voluntarily) since.

I go to the movies A LOT, I watch series A LOT, I go to concerts A LOT, I spend all the money I don't have in cds I don't need, I listen to music all day long and I like to think I have a pretty good sense of (sick) humour.

I try to play the guitar. For now I pretty much suck but someday I'll do something not that bad. And maybe I'll be able to do a bar chord without loathing myself. Everything is about faith!

I would like to play the piano (I got one, it is beautiful and I don't have any idea what to do with it), to do kickboxing and play Just Dance till I faint, to travel the World, meet people from everywhere, speak a lot of languages and be able to talk about anything with anyone.

But I'm just french, I just work in an accountancy firm in Lyon where I give advice to staff representatives on how to protect their rights in their company (before that I was on the dark side, giving advice to employers on how to fire people and not get sued (I know, I should say it with more pride)), and I just speak sarcasm (fluently by the way).

But someday I will be and do all those things. Because again, everything is about faith!

A bit cheesy but it is actually the line that convinced me to start CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a bunch of people in the past 2 years, and I had such a great time with each one of them! It is my way of opening to the World, share what I know and learn from people from all over the World. It is such a privilege to get to travel that I would like to make it affordable. Everyone should be able to see the World!

Interests

Music, movies, travelling, hunting street art, practicing foreign languages, guitar (a little), and drinking guinness! I'm curious about the World and its multiple cultures, which I want to discover, understand and share.

Teach, Learn, Share

With my ex roomate we have a World Tour project. And we want to use couchsurfing during our trip. But we don't want to do it just because it's free. This is why we want to welcome people : to make them feel welcome in Lyon as we would like to feel welcome wherever we go. I'm sure we have something to offer : our knowledge of Lyon, maybe some advice given our previous trips, french cuisine (crepes!), whatever! We see CS as a great chance to meet people from whom we can learn anything we can get.
