Overview
About Me
I am an International Relations student in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and my birthplace is a small city called Barreiras, in the state of Bahia. The only constant I have in my life is the knowledge that I will be always moving on, searching for places where I fit in, seeking for true happiness in the simple things, adding experiences to my personality and growing up with everyone I meet in my path - whilst never forgetting where I came from.
I am calm, optimistic and easy going, and a smile will be always upon my face.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the best way to be welcome in a city is through the hospitality of someone who is happy that you're coming. Also, I believe in the possibility of traveling the whole world with low costs, and I want to enforce this idea.
I feel independent to explore cities by myself, so I feel good traveling alone and getting surprised by the new people I meet on the way.
Either in France or in Brazil, I'm available and helpful!
Interests
To meet new people, to make friends, to feel comfortable and welcomed, and to offer my place to return it all back. I really enjoy drinking, partying or simply walking around to meet the aura of the city.
I love sports, cycling, dancing, coffees and preparing good food.
History, politics, feminism are my basis for everything.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huge fan of Brazilian music, Latin American bands and American/British music.
In my playlist you can find Los Hermanos, Novos Baianos, Tulipa Ruiz, Buenavista Social Club, Calle 13, Manu Chao, Jeff Buckley, Arctic Monkeys, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, Oasis, Porcupine Tree, Mother Love Bone, Sia, The xx, and related ones. I can't live without music.
I also love to listen to podcasts.
I am always watching movies and TV series from Netflix.
Regarding books, I have a huge list, which goes from fantasy to the academic ones... I think George Orwell's 1984 is still one of my favorites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was the winner at the annual Chess Championship of my hometown when I was 16 :)
