About Me

Life fascinates and perplexes me. I have big dreams, and I will never find enough time to see them all through. I love my friends. I love my family. I love making people happy. I love learning. I love horses. I love traveling to new places. I love yoga. I love laughing. I hate hurting people in any way. I am too hard on myself when I make mistakes. I am a very complicated and passionate person. I think/analyze way too much, and it hurts my brain...I have a very restless heart, but I will find my way eventually. =)

PHILOSOPHY

I try and live my life so I hurt other people as little as possible. If everyone lived their lives this way, imagine what the world could be. Treat the environment with as much respect as possible. Retreating from this materialistic culture and going back to nature is the only way this earth can handle us living on it. I live my life because I am here and I don't see any other choice. My feelings are always intense. I never feel anything half-ass. Sometimes I wish I could turn it off, but I guess I wouldn't be living then. It's better to feel pain than nothing at all. Man, I sound like a sad person. Well, sometimes, life DOES get me down. You can't unknow what I know. But one of my favorite things that makes me the happiest is meeting new people so cheers to you Couchsurfing!!!!!!! Thoughts? Grad school is hard. Monogamy is terrifying. Love is a mystery that will never be explained.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love discovering new music!!!!!! A good book is the 2nd best thing in life, after a happy dog. Movies are a strange way to escape. It's a gamble. You don't know if it's going to be the best 2 hours of your life, or the worst, but once you put in the first 5 minutes, there's no turning back (except for Freddy Got Fingered...definitely walked out of the theatre on that one.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Australia and studied abroad for a month and a half. It changed my life. Did a year and a half with a rural conservation corps. This also changed my life. I can't believe how much confidence I gained and how my perspective on life has changed. Nature is so wonderful!

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Greece, Italy, Mexico

Countries I’ve Lived In
