About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be myself, and fulfill my passions

ABOUT ME

I am an open-minded person, I am creative, and I love to try new stuff, and I love to meet new people. I love to travel, and when I am out travelling, I especially want to see the local areas and the culture.

I want to go backpacking around the world, I'm going to start with Europe and then on. That is my goal in life: Travel the World.

PHILOSOPHY

Be yourself, and live your life to the outermost. Live your life as you want it to be, and do not let anyone tell you what you can or can not do. Just be you, and follow your own dreams.

I feel like there is so many people, that lives their life, the way other people expect them to. Like parents, that expect you to get a good education, and not that it's bad, but if that's not what you want, you shouldn't feel pressured to do it. Or you might have ideas about, what other people think of you, and you try to change, and be as you think they want you to be. But in the end, if you don't feel good about it, then don't do it. Not to sound tough or mean, but those kind of people wouldn't deserve to be in your life then, and I know you don't choose your family, but then you gotta learn to stand up to them, and let them REALLY know what it is, YOU want.
It's not like I'm saying that you shouldn't take advice from other people, and not listen to others opinions. You just have to feel right about it, and feel good about what you do, and that goes for every decision you make in life, anything from large life-decisions, to the little things. All I'm saying is, that you should be yourself. That's how I live my life, and I would say I've accomplished some pretty amazing things. :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host as many as possible, and I enjoy to make new friendships around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted alot, and I'm going to be hosting alot! :)
My experience with couchsurfing has tought me that, you don't have to be afraid to let a stranger into your home AND life! :)

Interests

I compose music as a hobby. I usually spend my time writing songs, and expand my ideas about how I see my life, and what surrounds it. I guess you could call it a self-therapy method. You get to reflect over a lot of things, and sometimes you end up making something really good, and sometimes the songs aren't the best, but you have fun with it, and you get to express yourself. Anyways, that's I see my way of composing and writing. :)
I play the guitar (main instrument), and the piano, and i tried to learn the harmonica at a point as well, but I didn't really keep up on it. :P
I also skate every once in a while, but I've kind of been taking it easy for the past few years. Nowadays I mainly go snowboarding.
I also read, it's usually books about body and mind, and spiritual books. Though I also really enjoy biographies and adventure books (it kind of gives me a bigger urge to travel).

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music artist is Jack Johnson. I am also very big fan of Bob Dylan, Coldplay, Oasis, Norah Jones, Sophie Zelmani, Ryan Adams and Kashmir.
I just recently started listening to Matt Costa and Sebastian Lind as well.
I really like the book and movie "Into The Wild".
I have learned a few different tricks about how to think, from the book "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne. It teaches how you can set you mind to be focused at the positive parts, and what kind of big things, you can accomplish with it.
Books I also like to read is: "The Go Giver", "The Dolpin", "The Call Of The Wild", "Jonathan Livingston Seagull". Books all about, following you dreams, and what you actually are able to do, just from putting you mind to it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing I've done, which I thought was pretty amazing, was flying an airplane over a volcano..... when I was 10 years old! :D
But the most amazing thing I've done is that I've managed to do the things that I wanted, and I haven't let anyone tell me what was possible or not. That I've managed to do that, makes me think that I can live life as I want it. In a sensible way of course. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I always enjoy meeting new people. So I guess what I can offer, is my company. And I wouldn't mind paying for a beer or two.
I'm a very tidy person, so you wouldn't have to deal with a mess, when I'm staying at your house, and obviously I clean up after myself.

Another thing I can offer, is for my host to stay at my place, when they come to whereever I am in the world...

But most of all, I can offer my positive energy, my company, and my love for craft beer!
