About Me
What makes life worth living:
- Being in nature, and feeling a part of it
- Cooking with care and attention
- Talking with someone about something that truly matters to one or both of us
- Reading interesting books
- Learning new things, whatever they might be
- Meeting new people, because people are fascinating
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I absolutely love meeting new people whoever, wherever they may be. I love traveling and seeing new places! Couchsurfing is a wonderful combination of the two that works magically well.
I feel that a particular type of person embraces the Couchsurfing spirit, and I truly like that type of person! I wish the world was full of Couchsurfers!

Music, Movies, and Books
Books:
Too many to name. My favorite authors are Ted Chiang and Octavia Butler. My favorite novel is The Bone People by Keri Hulme. I’m also a big fan of Jungian psychology.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Taught classes at a very tiny school in rural India for two months.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Korean if you'd like to learn! English too, of course. I also love to cook, and would enjoy sharing the cooking experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Sharing knowledge, experiences, and whatever else two human beings who wish each other goodwill and happiness can share.
Most of all, I'd like to share conversations, laughs, and quiet revelations. Preferably over a drink or two. Or maybe we can go out!
