COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a very nice Australian man, and took him to all the sights; I stayed with IRC friends, meeting them for the first time, in London and Amsterdam. It's a grand experience, I must say! The "locals" know and notice things that a tourist alone never can, and vice versa.

As for movies: Fight Club, Labyrinth, Ladyhawke, and musicals with Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly.
As for books: I own most Pratchett books, though his quality's declining. I love Douglas Adams, Robert Rankin, Zelazny, Lewis Carrol. I like The Water Babies, though it is a tad disturbing. I can't go on a trip without returning with kilogrammes of books.

I can teach throat-singing! I know some massage techniques, I took a several month long course in it.

I'd love to learn to knit or crochet -- I tried it once but never got very far. And to cook.
