About Me

I want to live life in its most basic terms. Live deep and suck out all the marrow of life. Seek meanings. Learn things by experience and then give a true account of it to those that I meet on this short journey.

'Deep shit', thats me. Some people like it, others don't, apart from that I like to listen to people's stories. There are so many interesting people everywhere around us and often we walk along the street with our eyes shut, ignoring the person sitting next to us in the bus. Talking to strangers, trusting your instincts and then making lifelong friends, that's the way I go. Don't forget that we are all human and unfortunately we all have to live together on this earth.

I have a love-hate relationship with people. I love those who dare and care, about their lives and the world around them. I hate people that complain, sit on their but and blame others. Its your own life, so stop following others and start trusting yourself.

One's lifetime is not enough to see all the beauty of this place so I decided to make my life an adventure and keep moving. Don't stop, you might get caught up in a boring routine.

Yes, I am one of those foolish optimists who still believe that there is some goodness in this world. My life philosophy is not to worry too much and follow life's ebbs and flows.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up to Couchsurfing because I wanted to travel for real, see places that are worth seeing not because of the number of tourists that visit them, but because of their magic, because they carry something special that makes people return again and again. Hidden corners of towns full of murals and graffiti, old abandoned buildings that carry the spirit of the past, restaurants that don't look too attractive from the outside, but carry a hidden treasure. I would like some help from you guys in finding these places.

Interests

I love art and creativity because its a reflection of our inner selves and often a way of activism. In particular street art. It makes the streets speak and put a smile on your face. I recently fell in love with film photography that enables me to collect my memories and express myself. Art makes you stop and enjoy the very futile present moment.

I love sports that make you feel that you are part of the nature, not separate from it, but comfortable with the feeling of vulnerability that she evokes with her greatness. Shred the roads on a longboard and feel the freedom. Push the boundaries of your fears and feel fulfilled with every improvement. Get to the highest state of concentration by walking on a slackline.

I love tea, all kinds of tea, eating and making good food, sharing experiences, thoughts, skills with other people. At the end, its all about the little things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music makes my life better. Joao Gilberto makes you relax, Dub Phizix makes you skank and Uncle Jam Wants You funky. I love everything from african music, dub, funk, reggae, old school rap, jazz and especially the 'heavy shit' of drum and bass. I've recently started to DJ and there isn't a better feeling than seeking people skank to the base.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing that I feel grateful for having the chance to do was to move around and learn languages from an early age. Living in Africa and Spain made me the person I am today. In love with languages, culture, art and travelling. You see the world with different eyes. When you go home, you appreciate the imperfections of your own country, because they give it its identity and uniqueness that no one can take away.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play the hacky sack, the sac that brought magique to my life and I can also make you one, so you can spread the art everywhere you go.
