Hi Couchsurfing community!
I am living in berlin, but not since too long, so I am not a real local.

I am an easygoing person Who is interested in left politics, philosophy, nature, history and art.
I love to meet new people with new views because I recognized I learn a lot from good talks with different people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found out during my travels that I have the best trips and experiences when I am visiting people and staying with them in a place which I don't know yet.
On the other side, I love it when people come visit me and I can show them around. I realize something new about the place I maybe see every morning, every time a friend is coming to visit me.
I think I just understand the place and its people better, and I learn so much more when I really understand a place than just seeing its surface.

Interests

ARTS
I love to create any kind of arts. Drawing to performance art.

PHILOSOPHY
I am also really into philosophy and I love to read good books, which are giving you any input to question how the world is seen, using an inspiring poetic language or somehow paint a new picture while reading.

COOKING
I really enjoy cooking, I try to cook vegan or sometimes just vegetarian. I love to get to know how you cook and what's your cooking secret or your favorite spice.

SPORTS (sometimes)
I love to bike and If I can I love to do some yoga (especially outside in the park or at the beach). I love to surf! I am actually good at it but the experience I gained was awesome... Also, I really enjoy hiking.

MUSIC
I love so many kinds of music, as long as they make my head travel and feel something. Usually, I enjoy experimental things. Sadly I can't really play any instrument but maybe I will start to learn it... anyway I love to make music together and I try to participate through singing (or playing the triangle).

POLITICS
I am always to hear your opinions about world politics and hear about what is happening at the place you are from. I did do a bit of activism like blockades in the anti-capitalist climate justice movement, it's always great to build new contacts and share the gained knowledge if u are interested. I want to be more active in left movements, and get organized to build a more just world. So I would be happy to take you go to a demonstration together or something if you want to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is a hard question... maybe the last amazing thing I have done is a trip in a youth exchange kind of format to Tanzania in summer 2016. I met wonderful people there, had really good food and took so many inputs with me back to Germany. I am still reflecting on that trip. Some people and I are actually organizing this idea sharing project this summer between Tanzania, Krasnoyarsk (Siberia, Russia) and Germany. I am really excited about the project and hope to see a lot of new or known faces.
The whole project in Tz and this summer in Germany is about environmental and world politics, consuming, food production and climate change. But we are connecting the whole topic with cooking, believe me, the connection works well ;D. It's a lot to explain, if you want to hear more about it, just ask.

What I Can Share with Hosts
