Overview
About Me
I am 19 years old, finished school last year and want to spend the year until I start to study with travelling . I still live at my parents house. I am curious to explore the world and get into contact with new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I finished school recently and want to take a orientation-gap-year to travel the world, meet new people, get to know new places, get informed about universities and exchange with local students. I also like the idea of sharing my home to let other couchsurfers get to visit my city or special events. My family is open to meet new people, too ;-)
I am not here to write with people who want to practice a language and I don’t want to make digital-friends with guys I don’t know.
Interests
I would describe my interests as rather wide. I like music, sport, environmental engagement, cooking, talking and much more... you’ll get to know if we meet :-)
- drawing
- music
- outdoor activities
- sports
- sustainability
- creativity
- queer
- saxophone
- cooking and baking
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to almost every kind of music. With my little soprano saxophone I mostly play baroque trumpet concerts but I also like to play a lot of different pieces, especially together with others.
I don’t watch many films, I always preferred “real human-films” to animated films and I absolutely prefer family films to action films. When it comes to Books, my motto is reading=relaxing so I don’t read that much challenging literature ;-) My favourite authors are Ursula Potznanski and Colleen Hoover.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Three years ago I did a six-month exchange with a french family. It was a wonderful experience and teached me that it is always worth it to be open for others and to be curious about their way of living. I am still in contact with my host family and I am positive that this friendship will hold for a long time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share some language skills (German, French), cooking skills & recipes or simply good vibes ;-)
What I Can Share with Hosts
-I can cook for us or (even better) we cook together (I only eat organic meat or simply vegetarian)
-nice talks
-it might be fun to explore your city in an unconventional way, so you could discover new places or stories, too
