I play percussion, conga's, timbales, drum kit, cajon. I'm interested in African drumming. I like to dance. I like Salsa, Soul, Funk, Jazz, World Music.
I am fairly quiet. I practice hatha and kundalini yoga and meditation.
I love laying on the beach in the sun, exploring new places, Not everyone gets my sense of humour, but if you do, then we will have a great laugh.
I love cooking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had a lovely experience staying with hosts in San Francisco, they lent me their bicycle, which I repaired and rode around on for a day. I love the connection that happens when meeting locals with local knowledge, and the synergy of sharing experiences.

Interests

I was a professional jazz musician in Sydney for ten years, then I was a profesional photographer for another ten years. Lately my focus has been learning and practicing yoga and meditation. I really love to get out into nature, and although I love the hustle and bustle of a busy city with all the arts and cafes on offer, I also really love to get away from it all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently climbed Vulcan Acetenango in Guatemala, next to Vulcan Fuego. Vulcan Fuego is active and spewed lava into the sky in a display of natural fireworks. Well worth the climb
